THINGS TO CONSIDER
Most of the Restaurant, Bars, Museums, Malls, Stores, etc. accept credit card (Mostly Visa and MasterCard… for AmEx you will find places where is NOT ACCEPTED, so make sure to consider it)
All restaurants, Bars, Museums even parks have free wi-fi, so don’t worry about being disconnected.
Make sure to always carry some “pesos” with you just in case you want to buy something from the local market “mercado” .
You could either exchange once you arrive at the airport or you could withdraw from any ATM (just don`t use them at night!)
TRANSPORTATION
-
UBER is legal, secure and works great in Mexico. It’s also the best way to get from the airport to the apartment.
-
The easiest way to get from the airport to your hotel / airbnb is using the airports cabs… which are a little more expensive than Uber.
