Highlights

Xochimilco is best known for its water canals which are left from what was an extensive lake and canal system that connected most of the ancient settlements. The colorful floating boats known as Trajineras along with the Chinampas (agriculture lands) are a vestige of the area’s pre-Hispanic past, and has made Xochimilco a World Heritage Site.
Coyoacán is one of the famous neighbourhoods of Mexico City, this area is filled with single family homes, since most of them where mansions or country houses built in the colonial period. You will admire the narrow cobblestone streets and small plazas.

Itinerary

We will pick you up at your hotel and we will go to our first stop Xochimilco “Where the flowers grow”, enjoy a boat ride on a Trajinera (Floating boat) along the water canals in a magical and ancestral place. You may buy some typical handmade blue corn quesadillas, tacos and take some drinks on board.
After, we will go to Coyoacan and walk around the plaza, the mercado and walk on the cobblestone streets.

– For an earlier schedule pick up (before 7:00am) it will have an additional cost of +$600 pesos.
– Transportation only from covered areas in Mexico city:
Covered Areas: only in the following neighborhoods in Mexico City, Downtown, Juarez, Cuauhtemoc, Roma, Condesa, Polanco, San Rafael, Escandón, La del Valle and Anzures. Other rates apply to zones out of range.
– This service ends back at the meeting point.
– Airport drop offs will have an extra cost of $900 pesos.
– Multiple destinations drop off or pick up will have an extra cost of +$300 pesos per destination.
– Tourist guide extra hours will have a cost of $600 pesos per hour.
